The name
Light, by name and by approach.
The name draws on the Latin lumen, meaning light. It reflects how we work: we bring clarity to complex legal and commercial problems, and help clients see their position plainly.
Corporate transactions and commercial decisions are often made under pressure, uncertainty and incomplete information. Our role is to cut through that. We frame the issue, set out the options, and give clear, pragmatic advice that lets clients move with confidence rather than hesitation.

Angus Henderson
Angus is a corporate and commercial lawyer with over a decade of experience advising Australian and international clients across the full spectrum of corporate transactions and legal advisory.
Prior to founding Luma Legal in 2025, Angus co-founded AGH Law, where he acted for clients ranging from early-stage ventures to ASX-listed companies. He has developed deep sector experience in technology, mining and resources, industrial services and innovation-driven enterprises.
Angus specialises in mergers and acquisitions, IPOs and ASX listings, equity capital markets, business advice and structuring, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance under the ASX Listing Rules and the Corporations Act. He is known for delivering legal advice that is technically sound, commercially relevant, and clearly communicated.
With a background in both law and finance, Angus brings a strategic, outcome-focused approach to every engagement.
